Gratuity Calculator Nepal (Labour Act 2074)
Work out the gratuity built up at 8.33% of basic salary for each month of service.
How it works
Under the Labour Act 2074, employers set aside 8.33% of basic salary every month as gratuity from the first month of work. Multiply the monthly basic by 8.33% and by the months served. For SSF-enrolled staff, this 8.33% is part of the employer's 20% SSF contribution and is paid out under SSF rules.
Use the current basic salary; if it changed over time the real figure is the sum of each month's 8.33%.

Planning for gratuity as an employer
Treat gratuity as a monthly cost, not a lump sum at the end. Our salary calculator shows the full monthly employer cost including SSF, and the leave calculator covers the other end-of-service payment, leave encashment.
